Students must be in good academic standing in order to participate in extracurricular activities at Saint Rose Catholic School. A student is placed on academic probation if they receive grades that put them below a 2.0 grade point average for the previous grading period. Students who fit into this category will not be allowed to participate (play or practice) in any Saint Rose Catholic School athletic event or attend any school dances.
At the midpoint of the following quarter, the student’s grades will be reviewed and they will be able to resume activities if they have a 2.0 grade point average or higher and have no “F’s”. If a student has an “F” in a class, Mr. Knable will be notified and he will inform the student that they will not be able to participate in athletics for the following five weeks. Mrs. Payne will be notified and inform the student that they may not participate in any dances if they take place during that next five week span. At the end of the five week span, the student’s grade will be checked to see if he or she may resume extracurricular activities.
